I would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year and all the best for you and your family in 2014. I have been a member here for almost two years and would like to say that I have made friends with a lot of new people and learned a lot from them. This site has a range of photographers going from beginner to professional and all seem to get along well and have a very helpful attitude towards the other members. I have been part of several sites and have to say that I rate this one right at the top among all of them In this coming year I am setting my number one photography goal to learn as much about flash on and off the camera as I can. Improving my lighting skills with a flash or flashes has become my top priority lately and I am determined by the end of this year if not sooner to be as accomplished with my flash units as I possibly can be. I have the SB600, SB800, and SB900 Nikon flashes and a few others that are not Nikon brand. I have purchased a small softbox to go on my flash. a Rogue flash bender, a Better Beamer, along with a few Pocket Wizards that are on the way so I will have plenty to play with. Hopefully I will be able to show much improvement over the next twelve months in the lighting department and will be able to be of help to others with what I have learned. Well now you know what my photography plans are for 2014 and I hope as time goes on that I will be able to post some pictures showing what I have learned. Hope you have a great year!!!
