Got the Tamron

As you all know I wasn't happy with my 55-200 so today I got the Tamron 18-270. Kind of bummed that I had to sell one of my quadcopter to do it but I am happy for doing it. It is defiantly a good all around lens for doing a lot of what I call campus shooting at the college. I also picked up a ProMaster FG428 tripod because I originally ordered a cheap one off of Amazon and that thing couldn't hold a GoPro and I am really happy with that. Anyways I hope to make it out tomorrow for some good shots as nobody probably wants to see boring pics of my living room Lol.

I love my Tamron 18-270. It's my walkaround lens and lives on my camera if I'm not using a specialised lens :D

Ya it's definitely going to be my walk around lens until I can afford my dream the 24-70 f2.8. I forgot to ask a question though, do you think that now I have this I should get rid of the 55-200 kit lens or is their some reason to hold on to it?

If you ever think you might want to sell the camera you have now to upgrade, you can sell the kit lens with it :D It's really up to you. I still have my kit lenses in a box in the cupboard but they are not worth much so I decided to keep them.

That is a good idea as most places would only give like $50 for it or maybe $100 on eBay. I do plan committing to the 7100 for the next year or two and then we will see what is out by then. Probably make the leap to the D810 but by that time it will probably be the D850 or something with the D4X being the top of the heap.
