Anyone have some stunning photos (interested greatly in mounted long exposures) taken with the GoPro series? Thinking of picking one up this weekend, so would love to see some samples!

Okay, but wouldn't that D7100 take better long exposures? Gotta give you a hard time since you've been in hiding almost as long as me. :)

HAHA! Touche...

Let's just say I don't want to strap my D7100 to the grill of my car, or the bars on my bike, or place it down low on a lake shore, or......... you catch my drift, I'm sure! That D810 would be even BETTER, so you should loan it to me!

I would recommend checking out the GoPro subreddit. They have a decent amount of photos despite being mostly used as a video camera.

I have one, been playing with it. I will say it's more of a first person perspective camera. Just depends on what you want to do with it. I have camera hot shoe mounts and such. It's a great action camera, but what is your goal?

I have some ideas, just haven't implemented them to really push the camera.

I will use it in the water next summer, couldn't resist the price for the whole kit.

Impulse, what can you say.

Weatherproof time lapses, wide-angle long exposures, and the aforementioned "strap it onto something moving fast" long exposure shots. Water shots would be fun too, and first person perspective with the harnesses and such would be a fun new angle.

Just wondering about the pic quality from folks that know pics.
