Google drive price drop

I use Google drive a little, but so far I find the cost of cloud storage far too high long term... I use my 2 TB NAS drive as my main storage, and back that up to a 2 TB USB drive weekly.
I would love to sync my photos to a cloud service, but I do dread that first initial sync of 1.2 TB!
