Just ordered a stand alone copy of Lr6. :) Most here don't have satellite internet (evidently) and probably don't have limits on monthly data usage so it may be difficult to understand why i'm so happy about this! Even as much as one update can run me out of badwidth for the month. My task manager shows how data hungry adobe is on my system every time i use it. Supposed to be able to use offline, but i have never been able to do it; unless i open online and then close my network. Was suggested to uninstall everything and try again, but that's a bunch of data usage also. Really wanted to slowly learn Photoshop but i can live without it. No more data hogging behind the scenes from Adobe and no more being held hostage to them (except for updates). My celebration will come in the form of a Dvd tomorrow! I contacted Adobe through my account and requested them to cancel my cc subscription already and don't have the disc yet,,,,i hope i don't lose my catalog of adjustments by tomorrow. Maybe i should get ahold of them today and explain? Not sure how the transition works (with my catalogs/adjustments) on all this but hopefully it won't be too difficult. If you have some advice please share.
