I do this all the time and have NEVER lost my focus/resolution like this before! </p><p>I can resize from the original .NEF or a converted .jpg and the result is the same.</p><p>I can use Faststone ... ViewNX-i ... or Lightroom: same result.</p><p></p><p>In response to: "you're just blowing it up too far" ... I do this size reduction to 1600x1200 all the time and have never had this happen this bad before. I 'zoomed" the original .NEF file (and the .jpg file also) in Capture NX-D to 400% and it didn't fall apart like this. It pixelated a bit but one can still easily read the numbers on the lens rings.</p><p>Anybody have any ideas? I sure as the dickens can't figure it out!</p></blockquote><p></p>
