Sorry Sam, I may have come off a bit harsh. Just hate when people say things like fantastic, beautiful etc etc and don't back up their claim, or tell you WHY they think that way. Especially in the CRITIQUE section. My opinion was the opposite of theirs, and I told you why I thought that way. The wide open thing was a joke. Just meant that when I think of "wide open" I think 2.8....yes, i fully understand it was wide open, for THAT lens in particular with the TC. as for the "just for fun" part of your comment, I agree to a point...but in all honestly, when you post a photo in the critique section, you are asking that ALL portions of the photo be critiqued. From the "captures the imagination" part to quality and sharpness. and FOR ME...when the crop, composition and sharpness lack, I see nothing else, other than a snap shot. There needs to be SOME sort of quality to the image, to help portray the "Feelings" of the moment. When people hear what they don't want to hear (Like my comments), they immediately go on the defense and say things like "well its not about the quality, or i wasnt trying, or the light was bad" or some other crap excuse. If thats the case, post the pic in a NON-critique section so you can receive your "atta boys" and pats on the back from people who are affraid to tell it like it is.
