Message: <blockquote data-quote="benhasajeep" data-source="post: 847941" data-attributes="member: 70649"><p>The FTZ and FTZii work just fine with AF's lenses (DX or FF).  But not older AF-D lenses!  And the lenses will produce the same image they did on the DSLR's.  Now going by what others say and people that do actual testing, yes a lot of the new high quality lenses are faster focusing, sharper, basically better lenses.  But they are at a premium price point.  At the same time third party lenses has improved with even some samples many say are better than the brand name counterparts.  Basically a purpose built third party lens may be as good as the older best lenses, for much lower price than the newest greatest brand name lens, and similar or maybe even lower than the used good older lens.</p></blockquote><p></p>
