Hello! I went back to photography last yeat after ~15years of hiatus. I then bought a used Nikon D7200, a several second hand lenses, and have been loving it. I'm thinking about upgrading to a mirrorless though, mainly for the face/eye tracking AF. My lens collection is quite nice, so of course I have been thinking about keeping the lenses and use a FTZ adapter. That's where it gets confusing for me, as people seem to have wildly different opinions about the adapters. The camera I am considering is the Z6 ii (second hand). My main (and very loved) lenses for portraits are the AF-S 85mm 1.8Gand AF-S 50mm 1.8G (both are FX). Does using the FTZ adapter make the face tracking + AF worse in any way, as compared to using native Z lenses? Any other things I should be thinking about before purchase? Thanks a lot if you have any comment or hint :)
