All 3 are for determining how the focus motor behaves.</p><p></p><p>Now if you hold the af button and turn the FRONT wheel as you have found, you get the varies focus point modes, 9, 21, etc. These are how the camera will acquire a focus point, which is a separate process from how the motor behaves.</p></blockquote><p></p>
