We have been bombarded by Cicadas so I decided I should be able to get a photo of one of them before they are gone. Then I found out my Tokina macro lens would not work with the photo shift shooting in my D850. So, I bought a used Nikkor 105mm 1:2.8GED Macro lens and it works great! It has been extremely windy however, making it difficult to find a cicada on a pretty background that does not get blown all to pieces while I am taking my shots. This one is composed of 25 shots and processed in Helicon Focus. The tail in is blurred, I think I should have either used more shots or taken Clovishounds advice and stopped it down more but it was dark outside from a cloud cover. As time permits I will try to get more shots.
