Focus Fine Tuning Question

I've read that the Nikkor teleconverters do not change the focus on Nikkor lenses, so should I only fine tune my focus for the lenses without the teleconverter attached, or should also do so with the teleconverter attached?

I would do a test both with and without, and see where the focus point is with both...

I believe Geoff have done some testing with his TCs. Are we talking about long prime lenses or zoom lenses? It doesn't hurt to try just to be on the safe side.
