Here's a shot i took yesterday while out in the yard

Lens - 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 AF-S DX VR
F-stop - f/5.6
Expos. time - 1/200sec
ISO - 400
Metering - Spot
Expos mode - A


If i need to put any more info let me know

My two cents...

​Crop the flower more to the left so it's not turned out of the picture but into the picture. Currently the flower is on the right two thirds. I would have it sitting on the left two thirds.

I would have increased the aperture a bit to have more of the flower in focus, but that's my preference.

Why such a high ISO?

I see what your saying abt how i framed it to the right side and had the flower facing out of the picture. As for the iso, Thats just what it ended up on when after i set the aperture, i was in aperture priority mode. I appreciate the feedback! Im still learning a lot, I've only owned a DSLR for a little over a month
