That depends on the skillset of the user. Someone who has an eye for detail, is comfortable working on small and delicate mechanisms, and has the patience for it could easily replace the shutter assembly in a D200 in an afternoon. And it's fun!
Yes, I'm one of those people who can do that. But then again, I even dabble a little in the repair of mechanical watches. Which, comparatively speaking, makes working on a camera look like heavy mechanical work.
