That's what I've been telling myself. It was a great day yesterday but today, it started with rain then blizzard. So strange.

The good part is that they sent us back home and there was an early dismissal for the kids in school. No work till tomorrow noon for us. This is nothing compared to our folks up North (Canada).

I guess the city must be paralyzed. I was in Hamamatsu a few years back and never saw any sign of the white stuff.

Car probably don't have winter tires… That's the difference, here in Canada we have to be well equipped for this kind of stuff. Unfortunately, today it's 8° Celsius and most of the snow we had last week is gone. Good thing I went skiing last friday.

You need to work on improving your composition, this in my opinion is lacking in all your photos posted. They look more like casual photos people take with point-and-shoot cameras not real photography. I don't mean to discourage you but to let you know you can improve on this. So focus on your composition.

I am here to learn to be a better photographer, so any advice I get be bad or good only helps me to improve. So thank you, I will work on my composition.

Then at the risk on incurring a moderator's wrath, I have a copuple of sugestions.
Post a single photo and not a series in the forum so that it can be critiqued. It would also be helpful to know the technical details about the image: ISO, shutter speed, camera model, lens, did you use a flash, tripod, etc. It's much easier to give suggestions if we know a little about how you created the image.

For the ones you have just posted, I am going to agree with UmPrk, there is nothing remarkable about them. As snapshots, they are fine, as compelling images, nothing jumps out at me.
