Hello,

Just clicked these as my first assignment to myself : ) to start my photography journey. Used my D3300 with standard Kit Lenses 18-55mm and post processing - saturation (which I will set in my camera from now on) and image-re-size. ( I forgot to lower ISO which was set at 6400 from my previous night test shoot, so the noise ).

Congrats on starting your journey!

The beauty of your camera and subject is that you can go right back with different settings and try again, for free!

You identified 1 problem, iso...try it again at iso 100 and I'm sure your results will be much better. Experiment with different shutter speeds and apeture also...

Welcome to the forum!! That Kit Lens is a good piece of glass and one of the better kit lenses made!!

Have fun experimenting with the new gear and don't forget there are some great books and even phone apps out there to help accelerate your grasp on the fundamentals! I am looking forward to seeing what you come up with
