I now work in a camera store and have never seen that problem and I get my non-Nikon batteries for practically nothing!!!  (btw, fyi camera batteries are marked up 5x - 10x in camera stores! e.g. a Promaster brand EN-EL15 cost $4.50 and sells for $49.99  shhhh.....)</blockquote>
