I set the camera on a tripod, set the shutter speed on B and aperture on f/11 and ISO around 100 and then place a matte black card in front of the lens and open and lock the shutter. When you hear the fireworks fire, you can take the card away from the lens and replace it after the fireworks have gone off. You can place the card back in front of the lens and wait for the next round if you want to do a multiple exposure. Otherwise, just place the card in front of the lens and unlock the shutter. Doing it this way eliminates any unsharpness due to mirror slap</p></blockquote><p></p>
