Firefox pop up

Just viewing the site through firefox,the page vanished and a white page took its place with a box on saying i was viewing the web via fire fox (think i knew that) and i should update to the latest video player,i ignored it and closed it down.I would never do a update in that situation so thought i would mention it just in case it happens to others.

That was a virus from your computer and not this site. You need to do some scans to see what you have caught.

I didnt think it was from the site i just mentioned it in case its a firefox vulnerability thats going around,dont think it can be too much though if its asking me to download the problem and install it myself going to dump fire fox and reload it then run a full scan.
