I considered getting the D5500 but it was nearly $300 more than the D5300 and, as a begining DSLR user, I think that the 5300 will do just fine, I wanted to put the money into good lenses.  It will take about a week for everything to arrive. I am very excited about getting back into photography. Back in the Day, I had a pretty nice Olympus Maxxum 35mm and lenses but never really learned how to use it all that well. Now that I am retired I can really get into it.</p></blockquote><p></p>
