Hey! I'm in the Southern Ontario area, just wondering who is around me who is female and is looking for another female photographer to shoot with.

Often think female photographers are not as thin on the ground as it would appear, they just find it difficult to have the time to sit at the pc on forums, most of the females i know struggle to fit it in with work, house hold running and especially looking after children, most men can multi task but not as well as women.

Contrary to popular belief, the number of female photographers are more than what you think. During my recent visit in Tokyo Disneyland, most of the photographers that I noticed were female.

I understand that women are busy and it is common for them not to make time for themselves, but at some point in their life they need to have their "own" time. I have kids and a full time job, I do not have much free time either. I just beieve that most women ( and I'm one of them) never do anything anything for themselves because life gets so busy we forget to make time for ourselves. I've come to a point in my life where I have catered to everyone around me and never do anything for myself. I can only change that, it's a few minor adjustments in my life, that I've made so I can put the stress of life on the back burner while I enjoy a few hours to do what I love!

I wish my wife would multi-task! Football season is coming and all she's gonna do is sit on the couch yelling at me to get her another beer :)

And if we asked your wife about this what do you think she would say?

I photographed for 2 years for a local newspaper and as a female my "human subjects" said that they always felt more comfortable with me and that they liked their photos better. I assured them that I too hate to be in front of the lens and always work from that viewpoint to get them in their most relaxed and natural state for the shoot.
