I know I have both cameras( my wife loves her D7100) I agree the D7100 is good much better than some of it's siblings or rivals. With my D4 I can get usable shots at 25,600 ISO and higher because of the pixel density over the large sensor(16.2 mps) as compared to 24.5mps on a cropped sensor of the D7100. The D4 sensor is made by Nikon. The D7100 sensor is made by Sony or Panasonic.</p></blockquote><p></p>
