hello fellow Nikonites.
My name is Tammy and I'm fairly new to Dlsr photography. Up until November I was a point and shoot snapper. Then my DH bought me a d5100 for our anniversary..I'm still learning the ins and outs of everything. Right now I was told I have G.A.S. At the other forum I go to. Gear acquisition Syndrome . I'm on the hunt for a great lens..I have also been doing Macro photography. Right now I'm waiting on a lens reversal mount.. And last week I had to send in my D5100 to be fixed. Mirror problems, so I'm twiddling my thumbs waiting for it to come back. Look forward to reading posts and getting help. I also post on the photo forum and I've been to the ugly hedgehog site..

Welcome to the GREATNESS of Nikonites! We call your G.A.S. more along the lines of N.A.S. here, but it's all the same... LOL Will check out the pics when I get home, as work won't let me view flickr.
