Thank you for the kind words sir and thank you for seconding it Sam. You guys are great too. *yes I opened my page and it was like 88 likes and my first thought was damn I better email JDEG something is frigging wrong with the board!* Photography has always been a part of my life just like it probably is for everyone here. I tried to get serious about a few years back when I realized that my children were growing up astonishingly fast. I'm hard headed so naturally I pushed digital aside and went back to the old school. I figured if I could learn that stuff to a t than digital would be a breeze. I still believe that BTW. One thing I discovered right away, which is true in a lot of other things too, is that there are some people who are so naturally gifted they could be given any camera and any setting and they would be able to make a better snap than you and me. On top of that I discovered that I was a camera person that just sucked period despite coming from a fine art background and making really cool upholstery. So I struggled hard with it. I studied and still study it hard. I work on it when I can. I get a lot more acceptable ones nowadays. I'm getting better at it everyday - learning new things and recycling the old. I agree with the sentiments concerning the projects. The projects are a nice thing. They are the threads that I like to try to follow closely. It is a great to thing to be able to see the world from so many perspectives through these Nikons. Now I am a gearhead which is a whole other topic probably haha but Carroll I must ask do you own a bunch of Contaflexes?
