Message: <blockquote data-quote="cwgrizz" data-source="post: 598204" data-attributes="member: 27017">First off Welcome to Nikonites.  I am not familiar with the Altura Flash, but my first guess is that you are trying to shoot faster than the flash can recharge for the next shot.  That will result (I think) with a weak flash on the subsequent shots.  The better the batteries in your flash, the faster it will recover.  As to the built in camera flash. you may be running into a similar situation on recovery or just filling up the buffer of your SD card.  Are you shooting the shots in rapid succession or does it happen with a slow gradual shooting situation?</blockquote>
