Experiment in Macro - Little tiny flowers from the NC Arboretum

Hello!

So my second time posting, I went out to the NC Arboretum and ran across these little flowers that I thought were so delicate considering the time of the year. Look forward to hearing your thoughts and thank you!

Lens: Nikkor AF-S DX Micro 40mm f/2.8G
Focal Length: 50mm
Shutter Speed: 1/200

Love the flower. I'm not the master that many are around here, but I did a 30 second clean up to enhance what was in the photo.

What I did:

Pushed the saturation up +1
Adjusted some blue and cyan out of the picture
Slight adjustment down on the overall highlights and a darkening of bright spots
Increased brightness and huge push in the contrast

i love the first photo but that saturation push was a little to much i think it takes away from the natural look of the photo. awesome photo!
