Kinda wondering what the purpose of knowing the number of elements and groups of a lens is needed.
All the manufacturers state this in their lens' specs, but....... why? What purpose does it serve?
Can you tell the difference between a FlareMaster lens 25-75 f/4 compared to a Pincushion King PRO 25-75 f/4, judging the former by having 9 elements in 6 groups and the latter 10 elements in 4 groups?
