I LOVE the simplicity of that photograph. Although since you are focusing on a distant subject, could you not have gone with a shorter shutter speed (even 2 seconds would be fine to smooth out the water) and wider aperture? But honestly considering the shutter duration it turned out amazing.

Thanks, crycocyon! I had a new ND 10 filter I wanted to try out and it gave me the 15 second exposure. I just wanted to 'experiment' with a new piece of equipment. Still practicing.

Ditto, went there for my honeymoon, amazing place, I have large print of "our" island paradise above my desk.. I can't imagine shooting there in B&W, i remember amazing colours!

Great photo! How come there are no windows in the bungalow?

There are windows. The photo was taken from the rear. The wall you see hides the jacuzzi tub and the open air shower. Sort of a 'privacy' wall.
