The macro shots are stellar, the 60mm on the D7100 is a great portraiture lens it is super sharp. I just took it on vacation and although it was a little too long for some shots, when I look at all my shots from my my trip ( I also took my Nikon 18-70 and my Nikon 35mm F1.8) I can tell a definite sharpness difference with the ones taken with the 60mm. It took a few days to get to know the lens and the depth of field, but that lens now will be one I grab if I am in that range of glass.  PS I love my My Nikon 18-70mm for my walk around and landscape.</p></blockquote><p></p>
