I use the APP Tapatalk on my iPhone and it works pretty good.

Ok I have that on my iPad. Good to know pictures work well with that. I'll post some when my 12-24 arrives. I'm already wondering I should have bought the 10-24 lol. But I'll try to not second guess too much and just Starr shooting!

I just purchased the Nikon 60mm F2.8 D Macro and love, love, love this lens. The macro shots are stellar, the 60mm on the D7100 is a great portraiture lens it is super sharp. I just took it on vacation and although it was a little too long for some shots, when I look at all my shots from my my trip ( I also took my Nikon 18-70 and my Nikon 35mm F1.8) I can tell a definite sharpness difference with the ones taken with the 60mm. It took a few days to get to know the lens and the depth of field, but that lens now will be one I grab if I am in that range of glass. PS I love my My Nikon 18-70mm for my walk around and landscape.

My dearly beloved bought me a 60mm 2.8 AFS for my 60th birthday - and I agree with C. Hand - it is great on a APC camera. A little longer than the 'normal' nifty 50 which often comes a little faster but the 60 is versatile in that it also does great macro when you want it. Not sure if the AFS is any different with IQ than the AFD as I've only had the AFS but I like mine.

It is an FX lens - not sure that matters to the o.p. who asked about DX lenses. Bonus of an APC camera is you get the best of both DX and FX lenses to choose from.
