The 1 inch sensor gives you something to work with in post and better ISO capability than the little bridge cameras. The Nikon Cx sensor is pretty good up to 800 ISO, fast glass helps a lot. The 2.7 crop made my 70-200 a 190-540, was a lot of fun to shoot with. The larger sensor gives you more cropping ability which is a huge plus. While you don't have great AF tracking, you gain silent shooting, more important to me for my wildlife shots.</p></blockquote><p></p>
