Donald and Daisy

I spoke with the lady who fed Donald and Daisy. She said some low life beat up Donald. She took him to the vet and he drowned in the pool he was recovering in. A few days later Daisy was found floating in the lake. She thinks Daisy was beaten also.

That is so terrible Marilynne.. people like that should be...... %#$*& Never mind, family channel..

Those are the kind of people you'd like to meet in a dark back alley. Unthinkable behavior that just should not be tolerated. I'd have the place staked out because you know they'll do it again.

They were the only "wild" domesticated ducks in the lake. They were hand fed at times. None of the other wildlife in that lake is that trusting.

There cant be anything better than animals and birds trusting you to the point of taking food out of your hands, its something i enjoy every day at the lake.

Thats very sad, it is amazing at how such an animal can trust such untrustworthy creatures like humans.
