Dolica Tripod Combo

Just wondering if anyone has used this, especially if someone has used this with a longer/bigger zoom lens. The tripod is the ZX600 and the head is the B103. I've heard a few people mention Dolica as quality products, just wondering if anyones used this setup, mainly the head and if it could handle bigger setups. It says the max is 13lbs, but I've had a chapter tripod that likes to slide when mounted vertical.

Dolica Proline 60" Carbon Fiber Tripod with Ball Head Bundle

I have the Dolica Proline AX620B100 and it looks a step down from the one you're looking at. I like mine just fine, and the one from Costco looks a bit more sturdy even, as mine is aluminium with "snap" locks on the legs instead of the twist locks.

I ordered it yesterday. Can't really beat the price (89) for a carbon fiber. My main concern was the ball head being able to handle the weight of a 600 and 70-300. My last tripod (cheap amazon one) held pretty good, but in portrait, would slip foreword.

Mine has a different head than yours, but supports my 5100 with 18-200 in portrait, landscape and everything in between. I believe the head on your unit is an upgrade from mine. I hope you enjoy it!

I have had my dolica carbon with ball head for almost a year. Its endured being buried in sand at the beach, falling off two mountains (well, parts of them), daily use and abuse and it keeps ticking. It gets kind of wiggly at its max height, or near its max height and its A little bit heavy for a carbon tripod (I think? Guessing it could have been made lighter though..), but I've liked it. I purchased mine on sale for 60 USD on black Friday through Amazon.

Edit: this is the exact one I have as well. Supports anything I've thrown at it including a pals' D800+24-70.

Awesome! Get mine pretty soon. I loved the cheap 15$ one I got from Amazon, lol. It was a pan and tilt, and handled my.... Canon t1i... I know, I know (It's gone), but the D600 is about twice the size, and struggled in portrait, lol. So this one should be here soon. Got it for 89 on Costco's website. Hopefully it holds up! Reviews look good, and you guys/gals are re-assurance.

Got it in the mail yesterday. It's a champ. Holds the 70-300 without a problem, and no slip. The carbon fiber is pretty light, and it compacts pretty small. Not bad for the price. Gets my vote.
