[QUOTE="BackdoorArts, post: 287369, member: 9240"] I've always been a person who likes a traditional camera strap, and the Domke Gripper is my favorite as it manages to hang onto my shoulder no matter what I'm wearing. But, I do enough tripod and inside stuff where straps can get in the way, swing in the wind, etc., that there are times I want to be able to get it off in a hurry, and then right back on. I've tried the Black Rapid stuff, and they have their purposes, but in general I'd rather have a strap on my shoulder(s) or around my neck. But I couldn't find a decent quick release solution. (Note: the Domke has a release for the cloth portion, but the black leads still hang on the side which still creates issues on windy days and in the studio). So, I went to Tractor Supply, purchased two Snap-Hooks for $2.69 each and used two small steel keyring inserts I had lying around and for just over $5 I have a solution. It's never come close to disengaging on its own, been secure even with the D800 and Sigma 150-500mm hanging on it for 2 hours, and it's incredibly quick to put on and off when you need to throw it on a tripod on a windy day.
