Displaying photo info. along with a photo.

I had forgotten how to do this the other day. I wanted to take a look at the ISO of a photo that I just took and my in-camera display was just showing the photo with the file name at the bottom... I knew I had seen a display of camera settings that showed up with the picture, and related to that picture... So, I checked the trusty D7100 manual. You use the 'multi-selector' up/down arrows to toggle through all the optional display screens that are set by the 'Playback display options' menu. It was great to get this working again!

You can also adjust what screens you have to scroll through by checking on, or off, the related boxes from Playback Menu --> Playback Display Options.

Some cameras have more options than others here and the D7100 is tricky because "Overview" (arguably the most useful screen) hides out all by itself on a second page you have to scroll down for.

Yeah, I see that 'Overview' is easy to miss! I already had it checked either from a long time ago, or maybe it's a default? But, that could easily be missed, and it is my favorite display screen, when I need to see some info... In fact, that's the screen I was looking for the other day, when I couldn't remember how to get in there!:)
