Discovered the battery information.

On looking at the menu today of the D7100, (trying to learn this camera bit by bit) and wondering what the battery info was,

It even tells me the info of the second battery in the grip.

Don't rely on the battery age. Mine shows two years on one battery and zero on the other. They were both purchased within a week of each other.

That's interesting. I always thought it was setup to wear down one battery first then move to the next. (Grip first then body or vice versa) hmmm.

Battery use can be set to use the grip battery or the camera battery first or second.. I've set mine to use the grip first. On another note, yeah keep learning all the marvelous stuff this camera can do. Most of all enjoy!

Yes, I do have the battery setup for body first and grip second, I had use the camera the other day without the grip, then swapped batteries over, that's why both the batteries are showing around 55%.
