Message: <blockquote data-quote="Sandpatch" data-source="post: 602421" data-attributes="member: 10543"><p>I'm not quite sure if I completely understand, but if you see a few bits of dirt through the viewfinder that don't appear in your photographs, you likely have some deposits on your mirror.  When you remove the lens, you'll see your mirror.  (If you don't see a mirror, go no further without extra guidance.)  As a start, use a hand-held air puffer (not canned compressed air) and taking care to not touch the mirror, puff off the mirror surface.  This will hopefully dislodge the deposits.  While doing this, you may wish to hold the camera down, so that gravity carries out whatever is puffed away.</p></blockquote><p></p>
