[QUOTE="Ironwood, post: 381095, member: 10447"] I think any of the new ( and some not so new ) macro lenses are capable of producing superb images, whatever one you buy, you will always wonder if the other one might have been better, thats just human nature. When I was looking and researching which one to buy, I went back and forth between the Tokina, Sigma and Nikon. In the end I was ready to order the Sigma because it seemed the best value to me, a matter of hours before I was to buy the Sigma, I found a like new Nikon 105G advertised for 1/4 new price, turns out her son messed up the price when he listed it, we ended up settling on an amount that was about 35% of new price, so I went with the Nikon knowing I could onsell it for a profit and get the Sigma. I am happy enough to keep the Nikon, once I got used to it, I have gotten some great shots with it. Later when I am on my home computer I will post a link or some photos I have taken with it.
