[QUOTE="Moab Man, post: 606972, member: 11881"] It was a matter of the right place at the right time. So I'm helping my sister-in-law move her business into a new building. The prior business owner that was in the building had just bought an inexpensive, price is the entire point, set of studio strobes (220 watt) packaged with backdrops and the stand for the backdrops. She had paid $200 for the strobe set and another $40 in additional backdrops. Her plan was to rent out this area for photographers to come in and shoot. She only had three photographers that ever took her up on it and she knows nothing of photography. So while I'm there helping my sister-in-law, she mentions to the lady that this is her brother-in-law the photographer. The lady tells me she has this stuff and that she has no use for it so if I want it I can have it for $50. I jumped on it immediately. It's not good equipment by any means, but will certainly fill in as a kicker, backdrop, or hairlight for dirt cheap. Needless to say, I'm thrilled to have come upon this find for next to nothing.
