You have your first card setup as primary storage and the second card setup as backup storage. When you shoot a photo it writes the photo to both cards. If the camera deleted both the primary and backup photos with one delete command, this would defeat the purpose of having a backup. What if you accidentally delete the first photo, if it also deleted your backup, it would be gone forever (other than making a data restore which may or may not work and may cost you a lot of money). If you don't want to have to delete the photo drive, do not make your second card a backup.</p></blockquote><p></p>
