Last week I traded my D3s in against a new D810 (got a great trade in price and Nikon are currently offering the extra £300 on top of the trade in price). It is a nice robust, small camera that is an easy carry after the D3s. I am amazed and pleased at how quiet the shutter is and that coupled with the ISO range will prove very useful for those sensitive occasions where no flash and minimal noise is critical. I have been using lightroom so far but have noticed that NX-D produces images with less grain/noise but at the expense of speed and versatility. The AF is stunningly fast but the sensor size with smaller light gathering lenses does mean you need to be more critical with focus to ensure sharp images. No complaints so far and for me it is a trade I am happy with.
