Having compared the MarkIII to some earlier cameras, I actually felt that the camera was improved.  Does it match the Nikons,, well, in my biased opionion,, heck no..yet,,, the mags (must be all those canon Ads),, gave the 1st place to Canon, and 2nd place to Nikon.. with the flimsy reason that it was TOO MUCH CAMERA hahahah,, now that is funny., Maybe years from now,, I'll be able to pick up a used D4 for say 1500,,. one feature I would like Nikon to do,,, is come up with a D900 that allows you to reduce the size of the image to say 24 Meg or even 16 Meg, but double the burst rate,, but,,, wait,, that would make it like the D4.</blockquote>
