The D800 has an SD card slot and a CF card slot. I only own one CF card and use it as back up.
Now it is getting full, and I have no way to delete the files on it because there is no CF card reader than I can hook to my computer. (I don't have the right cable to hook the D800 directly to the computer.)
To delete the files with the camera, I can only delete one file at a time. In an effort to delete all of them in one swoop, I tried to get the camera to reformat the CF card. The camera gives me the warning "All Files Will Be Deleted." Fine, I hit Yes OK, and the camera does nothing. It just leaves up the error message and it does not reformat the card.
Is there any camera command to delete all files?
