I found this happened when using focus mode AFS and centre spot. What happens is the camera stops focussing and it's almost as though it won't fire. I also notice the focus point moves from the centre to the focus point directly to the left of centre. I find switching from AFS to AFC shoot and go back cures it.im now on my second d750 which was sent back for the same problem. I called Nikon and they are not aware of any issues. I am more concerned that the focus spot can move despite being locked on the dial.i should also add this lens works without issues on my D600, the d750 will lock up every 200 approx shots...</blockquote>
