d7100 top screen slant

Hello all,

New D7100 owner. My question is about the top Lcd screen. I believe mine is slanted more than it should be.

I will try and upload a picture but as described is this a common observation?

I can see how the display is 'centered' in its aspect to the body but within the screen itself it all seems slanted to the left?

It's not something I have noticed on my D7100.

my 2 year old d7100 appears slanted, not as much as yours.

I see the slanting of the display, but I'll bet you dollars to donuts Nikon will tell you it's within spec' (since doesn't appear it's affecting the display). If the vendor you bought it from will let you can exchange it without a hassle, I'd take that route. Beyond that, I'd just get over it.

I bet everyone who reads this thread, with a D7100/7200 will pickup their camera and have a look. Most would not have noticed if it slanted or not till now.
The old saying "What the eyes do not see the heart does not grieve over" applies here.

Mine is 100% spot-on, straight as an arrow. No different with the backlight on. So, you definitely have a legitimate complaint. If it bugs you to no end, contact Nikon customer service or the dealer you bought it from and demand a replacement or fix. It would bug me more than a little bit...
