Most of the speeds you see listed are read speeds or how fast it transfers to the computer. you need write speed to shoot fast.
Or shift to JPG if you really need the FPS. On my D750 I had to get a much better SD card to really up the number of shots before it slowed down. I can't find the post right now but basically I had what was listed as a 80mb class 10 card but even set on jpeg I could only get about 40 shots or so before it slowed down. In doing the research I found that the write speed was only about 40mbs or so. Most of the speeds you see listed are read speeds or how fast it transfers to the computer. you need write speed to shoot fast. I found and bought cards that had 90mbs for both read and write. now I can shoot 100 frames in jpeg at full speed before it slows down. RAW maybe 35 or 40. FPS does not matter at all if you can only do 6 or 7 frames before it slows down.
