I'm quite sure most people would enjoy the wider 11-16 more than say 12-24, as it simply creates more dramatic looking photos. It's very sharp when used in good light, with perfect colour rendition, although a little tricky to use at times. Due to the weight though, i'm not sure it would be an ideal "walk around" lens? I purchased mine at a reduced price here in Australia, so i'm sure it's worth shopping around, checking ebay and so on until a bargain pops up.</p></blockquote><p></p>
