I'd say you're looking at $200-$300 USD in charges, plus shipping of course. That's a guesstimate based on my working in the Visual Arts department at a college and having had some Nikon repair bills under my belt for things similar. Most likely they'll replace the shutter mechanism but they'll do other things as required like adjusting the mirror angle, the focusing screen, checking out the electronics and so forth. ........</blockquote>
