[QUOTE="SmittenKitten, post: 218227, member: 17859"] I bought my D7000 a few months ago. Keep in mind, I am a Complete newb. I've only ever used digital cameras. I bought the D7000 because I wanted to begin doing photography as a hobby and the sales associate recommended this camera for me. It worked great for the first few weeks. I was snapping pictures of everything. I've never dropped the camera or have damaged it in Anyway. I came here today to try to get some help. I don't know if I flicked a switch, touched a button or screwed with a setting, but when I press the button to take a photo, nothing happens. The back screen is black, it won't prompt the subject of what I'm trying to take a picture of. And the display screen on the top flashes "FEE" when I press the shutter button. I've tried to read the manul and am just confused. I'm really inexperienced and I would love to continue to use my camera. It's been sitting untouched for over 2 months because I can't figure out what's wrong or any of the settings. If someone could help me or provide some insight, that would be so helpful. Thanks.
