D7000 - blue/purple highlights problems on 2 seperate D7000's

I've gotten this with $90 clear filters, though never to this extent. I don't know that it can be 100% avoided with bright light coming straight into the lens while you expose for the darker sections.

Same here.
Here is an example and is caused by the light on the scorers table.

Hi Barbara, well I am suprised the filters are doing this, but from the tests I was conducting the other night they were definetly making the diference on the blue light problem......I have googled fake UV HMC filters and lo and behold mine appear fake. I paid a lot from a reputable shop aswell via amazon so now they are purely for lens protection. A friend will brng his D7000 over next week and we'll do further tests on his to see if he has a problem. My conclusions are as such now:
Extreme lighting + fake filters + D7000 = strange lighting results. Thanks for your input
